Privacy Policy

RadTask ("RadTask," "we," "us") is an AI task assistant: you describe a task in plain language, an AI agent works on it in a sandbox, and anything irreversible — sending an email, scheduling an event, spending, deleting, or publishing — is held for your explicit one-tap approval before it happens. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the specific commitments we make about data accessed through Google and Microsoft accounts.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email address, profile picture) via OpenID Connect to create and identify your account.
- Tasks and content you create. The tasks, projects, and instructions you enter, and the outputs the agent produces for you.
- Connected-service authorization. If you connect Gmail and Google Calendar, we store an encrypted authorization (OAuth refresh token) so the agent can perform actions you approve. We do not store your Google password.
- Usage data. Counts of agent runs (for free-tier metering), timestamps, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To provide RadTask: run the agent on your tasks, store your tasks and results, and meter free-tier usage.
- To perform actions you explicitly approve — for example, sending an email through your connected Gmail or creating a calendar event. We never send, schedule, spend, delete, or publish without your per-action approval.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Google user data — Limited Use
RadTask's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Scopes we request and why
- openid, email, profile — to sign you in and identify your account.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send — to send an email only at the moment you approve a specific send the agent has prepared. RadTask cannot read, search, or delete your mailbox with this scope.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create or update a calendar event only when you approve it.
Our commitments for Google data
- We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features you request (preparing and, on your approval, sending the message or event).
- We do not sell or transfer Google user data, and we do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except: with your explicit consent, for security purposes (e.g. investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.
- Microsoft 365 / Outlook data accessed via Microsoft Graph is handled under the same commitments.
AI processing & subprocessors
RadTask uses third-party infrastructure to operate: Anthropic (the AI model that performs tasks; task text you enter is processed to carry out your request), Vercel (hosting), and Neon (database). Content sent to our AI provider is processed to provide the service and, per that provider's API terms, is not used to train its models. We share data with these providers only as needed to run RadTask.
Storage, security & retention
- Connected-service tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and bound to your account.
- You can disconnect a connected account at any time, which revokes RadTask's access.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (below). We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Not for protected health information
RadTask is a general-purpose consumer productivity tool. It is not a HIPAA-covered service and is not intended for protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data. Do not use RadTask to process PHI or enter regulated data into tasks.
Your choices
- Disconnect Google/Microsoft at any time from the cockpit.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your data.
- Decline any agent action — nothing irreversible happens without your approval.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
